What is Rybelsus 7 mg?

• Active ingredient: Semaglutide (GLP‑1 receptor agonist).

• Indication: Prescription tablet used with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes—not approved for type 1 diabetes or children under 18 years

• How to Take It

• Dosage schedule:

  • Start with 3 mg once daily for 1 month.

  • Increase to 7 mg once daily thereafter.

  • Later, may increase to 14 mg daily if needed

  • Administration instructions:

  • Take first thing in the morning, with ≤120 mL of plain water, on an empty stomach.

  • Wait ≥30 minutes before eating, drinking, or taking other medications

  • Do not split, crush or chew the tablet

  • Taking more than 120 mL of water can dilute the absorption enhancer (SNAC) and lead to reduced drug uptake
